Educational Qualification

The essential qualifications vary depending on the discipline you are applying for. Here is a quick look at the requirements:

• Industrial Safety: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Safety Engineering Management, or B.Tech in Safety / Fire Engineering.
• Geology: Post Graduate Degree in Geology / Applied Geology.
• Electrical: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering / Technology.
• Mechanical: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mining Machinery.
• Civil: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• M&HS: MBBS from a recognised institute with minimum 3 years’ experience (including at least 1 year in emergency services or occupational health services). If you have a PG Diploma, then minimum 3 years’ experience after the diploma in the clinical field. Valid MCI/State registration and experience certificates are required.
• Environment Management: Bachelor Degree in Environment Engineering / Technology, OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology with PG Degree / Diploma in Environmental Engineering / Management / Science, OR Post Graduate Degree in Environment Science.
• Mineral Processing: B.Tech / B.E. in Mineral and Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Engineering, or Mineral Processing, OR M.Tech in the same fields.

HCL Executive Recruitment 2026: Selection Process

The selection will be based entirely on performance in the Personal Interview (PI), which carries 100% weightage. There is no written exam by default. However, HCL reserves the right to conduct a written screening test to shortlist candidates if required.

Candidates will be called for the interview in a ratio of 1:5, meaning five candidates will be shortlisted for each vacancy. For a single vacancy, 10 candidates will be called. Shortlisting for the interview will be based on relevant experience and additional qualifications.
